A while back I got a call from a painter, Lisa Danielle www.paintbrushranch.com in Sedona Az., asking to photograph some of my boots for a show she was commissioned to paint for, the Cowgirl UP show in Wickenburg AZ at the Desert Caballeros Museum.
In addition to one of my AZ Flag motif boots, which is supposed to show up elsewhere later, she also asked to borrow and photograph to paint, some boots from my collection.
The one here is an old pair of Hyers I got years back. Her painting makes them much more wearable now than they are in real life.
You might recognize her style from the Leanin' Tree cards she has painted for.
The show opens on Friday just down the road from "Mile Away Al".
Enjoy,
Paul
