Pablo, or anyone else, There seems to be a paucity of bootmakers (other than the late Henry Leopold) in the general Dallas area. Do you have any names and information on old bootmakers in the area? |

Mark the Chicago Twins were making boots in Dallas at one time. You have to call, Smitty at Blucher for details. "Remembering For the Brand" Brian C. Thomas |

Mark, There probably are as many reasons for a lack of makers in Dallas as there are options to do something else there instead. As one old timer put it, " I quit makin' boots when I could make more money diggin' ditches". An addendum might be it doesn't matter where you are - " make a good product and they'll beat a path to your doorstep " As for the old timers, ofcourse I have info and names, but this is neither the time nor the place for that from me. pablo.
