Pablo, or anyone else,

There seems to be a paucity of bootmakers (other than the late Henry Leopold) in the general Dallas area. Do you have any names and information on old bootmakers in the area?

Mark the Chicago Twins were making boots in Dallas at one time. You have to call, Smitty at Blucher for details.

Mark,
There probably are as many reasons for a lack of makers in Dallas as there are options to do something else there instead. As one old timer put it, " I quit makin' boots when I could make more money diggin' ditches". An addendum might be
it doesn't matter where you are - " make a good product and they'll beat a path to your doorstep "

As for the old timers, ofcourse I have info and names, but this is neither the time nor the place
for that from me.
pablo.
