I had the pleasure of taking a field trip to Carl Lichte's shop in the Dallas area. Carl is one of the nicest people you will meet, and very knowlegeable on last building and has a great shop. Here is his last lathe, in action

This is Carl's "Last Trap"
He takes various last measurements with it. Carl made this himself. |

I don't know what this is for exactly, but Carl uses this to trace out the bottoms of lasts (help me out if needed!)
