I had an idea for a side lace up boot. We visited John Fong's shop in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago and he showed us a different technique for making patterns. What style! I love the blue jean look against the tan color. The ropers are interesting too. Your animal embelishments are well done!

New boots. First pair is lizard from John Fong and Missouri calf from Hardtke. 2nd pair is bullhide from Hardtke. Many thanks to Dan Schwartz and Keni Crane for giving us a sole & heel finishing class. Also thank you to Julia for the fine meal.

That is a good looking finish on the soles. The boots look pretty darn good also.
